Cookie Policy

How izzytap uses cookies and similar technologies on its website and platform, the categories we rely on, and how you can manage or opt out of them.

Last updated 26 July 2026

01Overview

This Cookie Policy explains how izzytap Portal ("izzytap", "we", "us" or "our"), a Software-as-a-Service provider based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, uses cookies and similar technologies on our public website and within the izzytap platform. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more generally.

By continuing to use our website and platform, or by accepting non-essential cookies where we ask for your consent, you agree to the use of cookies as described here. You can change your choices at any time using the controls set out in the section on managing cookies below.

02What cookies & similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device to store information, such as a session identifier or a setting you have chosen. Cookies may be "first-party" (set by izzytap) or "third-party" (set by a service we use), and they may last only for your current visit or persist across visits.

We also use similar technologies that serve comparable purposes, including local storage, session storage, software development kits and pixel tags. In this policy, references to "cookies" include these related technologies unless we say otherwise.

03The categories of cookies we use

We group the technologies we use into the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required to operate the website and platform, keep you signed in, route requests to the correct firm workspace, and protect against fraud and abuse. These cannot be switched off through our consent controls because the service would not function without them.
  • Functional — remember your preferences and choices, such as language, display settings and interface options, so we can offer a more personalised experience.
  • Analytics & performance — help us understand how our website and platform are used in aggregate, so we can measure performance and improve reliability and usability.

We do not use cookies to serve advertising and we do not sell information collected through cookies.

04Why we use cookies

We use cookies to deliver a secure, reliable and usable service: to authenticate users and maintain sessions, to remember your settings, to keep the platform safe from misuse, and to gather aggregate insight into how our website and platform perform so that we can improve them.

Cookies set within the izzytap platform are used to operate the service securely for the Firm and its authorised users. Where a Firm's End-Client personal data is involved, izzytap acts as processor on the Firm's instructions, as described in our Data Processing Addendum.

05How long cookies last

Cookies last for different periods depending on their purpose. Session cookies are temporary and are deleted when you close your browser; we use these mainly to keep you signed in during a visit. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a defined period, or until you delete them, and are used to remember your preferences and to support analytics across visits.

Retention periods vary by cookie, but we do not keep persistent cookies for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which they were set. You can delete cookies from your device at any time through your browser settings.

06Third-party analytics

We use reputable third-party analytics and performance providers to help us understand how our website and platform are used and to keep them running reliably. These providers may set their own cookies and process usage information on our behalf, subject to appropriate safeguards and their own terms.

The current providers that may set cookies through our service are listed in our Subprocessors page. Where required, we ask for your consent before non-essential analytics cookies are placed.

07Managing & opting out of cookies

Where we rely on your consent, you can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the cookie banner or preference controls shown on our website, and you can change your choice at any time by returning to those controls. Declining non-essential cookies will not prevent you from using the core service, though some features may be less convenient.

You can also manage cookies through your browser, including blocking or deleting them. Please note that strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled through our consent controls, because the website and platform rely on them to function and to remain secure.

08Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or in applicable law or regulatory guidance. When we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date below and, where appropriate, bring the change to your attention.

The version published on this page is the current version and applies from the date shown. Last updated: 25 July 2026.
