Your account is ready to activate
When your service provider sets up your account, they send you a welcome email with the subject Welcome, your account is ready. That email has a one-time link that turns your account on and signs you in for the first time. You do not need to create a password to get started.
Activate from the email
- Open the welcome email in your inbox.
- Click the Log in to your account button.
- You land on a page headed Activate your account. It shows your company name and, underneath, the line Signing in as your email address. Check that email is the right one.
- Click Activate & sign in.
That is it. Your account is now active and you are taken straight to your dashboard.
Note
The link works like a key. Anyone who has it can sign in as you, so do not forward the email. The link can only be used once, and it is valid for 14 days from when it was sent.
Signing in next time
After you have activated, you can sign in any time with your email address, no password needed. See sign in with a magic link. If you would rather have a password as well, you can add one later. See reset or set your portal password.
If the link does not work
If you see a page that says Activation link not valid, the link has either already been used or has passed its 14-day limit. You have two options:
- Click Sign in with your email on that page and sign in the normal way, since your account may already be active.
- If that does not work, ask your service provider to send you a fresh activation link.
Tip
Links can expire quietly if the email sat in your inbox for a couple of weeks. There is no harm in asking for a new one, and a fresh link arrives in the same kind of welcome email.
