The Compliance page: what needs you vs what we handle

The Compliance page splits your deadlines into what needs you and what your firm is handling, so you always know the one or two things that are actually yours to do.

What the Compliance page is for

The firm-wide Compliance overview listing every renewal and filing deadline being tracked.

Your Compliance page lists every renewal and filing deadline your firm is tracking for your company, such as trade licence renewals, visa expiries, VAT and corporate tax filings. It is built to make one thing obvious: which items need you, and which your firm is quietly taking care of.

Open it

  1. Log in to your portal.
  2. In the left menu, click Compliance.

The banner at the top

A green panel at the top sums up where you stand.

  • When nothing needs you, it reads Everything's on track, with a note that every deadline is handled and on schedule.
  • When one or more items need you, it reads We're managing your compliance, and tells you how many items need your attention.

Needs your attention

A company's Compliance tab, with the items that need attention shown first.

Items that are yours to act on appear first, under the heading Needs your attention, on amber cards. These are usually a licence or visa renewal that is coming up soon or has passed its date. Each card shows the item name, when it renews, and a Renew now button.

Pressing Renew now sends a request to your firm to start the renewal for you. You do not have to do anything else, your firm picks it up from there.

On track, we're handling these

The same tab showing filings and renewals the firm is handling on schedule.

Everything your firm is managing sits below, under On track, we're handling these, on green cards. There are two kinds:

  • Recurring filings (like VAT and corporate tax) read We'll file it by [date], nothing for you to do, with an Ask us to file early button if you want it done sooner.
  • Renewals your firm is watching read Renews [date], we'll remind you in good time, with a Renew early button.

These buttons are optional. They simply let you nudge your firm to act ahead of the deadline.

Tip

If your firm handles a filing for you, you never need to chase the government yourself. The green cards are there to reassure you it is covered.

If the page is empty

Until your company has a licence, visa, VAT or corporate tax record with your firm, there are no deadlines to show. The page will say your firm will watch your deadlines, and items appear here once they exist.
