What to do when you reach your plan limit

What being at the limit means

Your plan includes a set number of team-member seats and client slots. When one of those is full, IzzyTap stops you from adding more of it by hand. You will see a message like:

You've reached your plan's limit of 100 clients (100/100) on the Starter plan. Upgrade your plan to add more.

The same block applies whether you are inviting or creating a teammate, adding a company, or running a bulk company import.

You can confirm which gauge is full on the Plan & usage screen: the full gauge shows a red bar and a Limit reached chip. See Read your Plan and usage screen.

What is not blocked

One important exception: a client who commits or pays is never turned away, even if you are over your client limit. If a lead accepts a quotation, or an invoice gets paid, or a client files their first request, their account is created anyway. They still count on your gauge, so it may tip into overage, and you will be nudged to upgrade. But a paying client is never left stranded at the door.

Only the manual, staff-started adds are blocked. That is the right place to draw the line: those are within your control, so you can free up room or upgrade before adding more.

How to make room now

Because only active teammates and active companies count, you can free a slot straight away.

To free a team-member seat:

1. Log in to your workspace.
2. In the left menu, under Admin, click Staff.
3. Open the teammate you no longer need with Manage, then deactivate or remove them.

To free a client slot:

1. In the left menu, under Clients, click Companies.
2. Open a company you no longer serve and suspend or archive it.

As soon as you do, the matching gauge on Plan & usage drops and you can add again.
