Agreements
19 step-by-step guides for agreements.
Find your way around the Agreements list
The Signed agreements page lists every engagement agreement you have generated, with its number, client, how many parties have signed, and its status. Here is how to read the table and open one.
How to create an agreement to sign
Draft an engagement agreement, preview it on your letterhead, and send it to your client to sign online.
How to save and reuse agreement templates
Save an agreement you use often as a template, then reuse, edit, duplicate, or delete it whenever you need it.
What each agreement status means
Draft, Out for signing, Signed and Voided: the colour and label on each agreement tells you exactly where it is and what to do next. Here is what each one means.
Fill in the client and service details
The Details section at the top of the agreement builder holds the client, service, date and reference fields. Filling them in clears the green highlights in the agreement text automatically.
Edit the agreement wording and formatting
Use the built-in text editor toolbar to change headings, wording and formatting, and watch the live preview update as you go.
Paste a Word agreement and auto-format it
Paste a full agreement from Word or anywhere and let IzzyTap reformat it into your design, keeping your numbering exactly as written.
Add the people who need to sign
List everyone who must sign the agreement, with their name, email and role. Your firm signs first automatically.
Preview the exact PDF before you send
Check the exact PDF on your letterhead before you save or send, using the live preview and the Preview exact PDF button.
Send an agreement out for signing
Use the green Send for signing card to email every party a private link, pre-sign on your firm's behalf, and file a copy. Links stay valid for 14 days.
Copy or resend a party's signing link
On an agreement that is out for signing, each party has a private link you can copy and share by hand, plus a tick showing who has already signed.
How your client signs the agreement
What your client sees when they open the signing link: an emailed one-time code to prove it is them, then draw or type a signature, tick to confirm, and done.
